Aim. The scale proposed by the authors for assessing the severity of traumatic and hemorrhagic shock in patients with combined trauma (CT) has high sensitivity, specificity and fully
meets the requirements of practical emergency medicine.
Material and methods. A retrospective analysis of the data from the initial examination of
224 patients with CT hospitalized at the RRCEM from 2022 to 2023 was carried out. 102
patients did not have a severe course of CT, 122 had a severe course of traumatic disease.
Results. Reliable predictors of severe CT have been established, a scale for assessing the severity of traumatic and hemorrhagic shock at the prehospital stage has been developed: the
sum of coefficients up to 2.08 is a shock of the first degree, from 2.09 to 4.16 is a shock of
the second degree, from 4.17 to 6.24 is a shock of the third degree. The proposed scale has a
high sensitivity and specificity.
Conclusion. The use of the proposed scale at the pre-stationary stage will allow an objective
assessment of the severity of traumatic shock and determine rational treatment tactics in
patients with CT
