Abstract
The results of surgical treatment of 10282 patients with acute calculous cholecystitis conducted in the Namangan
branch of Republican research center of emergency medicine. Among the patients, 7608 women (74%)
prevailed, and 2674 men (26%). Persons of working age accounted for 81.7%, and the elderly and senile age-
15.6 %. The patients were divided into two groups. The main group consisted of 6764 (65.8%) patients who
underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LChE)), and the control group of 3518 (34.2%) patients who underwent
traditional cholecystectomy (TСhE). Of these, two-stage cholecystectomy (after ERChP, EPST, and litho
extraction) was performed in 858 patients. In 64 of the 68 patients with early postoperative intra-abdominal
complications, relaparoscopy was sufficient to complete the operation.
