Glaucoma optic neuropathy: pathogenetically oriented medical treatment

Abstract

The article is a review of literature sources on some theories of pathogenetic factors of primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) and glaucoma optic neuropathy (GON), the use of ethylmethylhydroxypyridine succinate, its efficacy and safety in POAG and GON occurring with
damage to retinal and optic nerve cells.
