Abstract

This article is devoted to one of the topical issues of modern traumatology and angiosurgery – the possibility
of performing primary reconstructive operations for complete and incomplete amputations, open and closed
fractures and dislocations of the bones of the lower extremities in conditions of impaired blood circulation based
on twenty years of experience in treating 151 patients with similar injuries, of which 127 (84.1%) managed
to save lives and preserve the damaged segments. The article describes the tactics of providing assistance to
patients with various types of injuries and performed reconstructive operations, and certain conclusions are
drawn. A clinical example shows the main stages of performing reconstructions.
