A CASE OF SUCCESSFUL FASCIO-TENDOPLASTY AND COMBINED SKIN PLASTY OF PATELLAR TENDON TRAUMATIC DEFECT AND EXTENSIVE SKIN-SOFT TISSUE DEFECT OF THE KNEE

Abstract

The article presents a case of fascio-skin-plasty of knee on pronounced tissue laceration in a 41 years old patient. Detailed description of status localis, performed surgeries, postoperative period and complications is given. As a result of the step-by-step treatment, the secondary wound defect was closed by applying the combined skin plasty with a bridge-like flap and consequently, complete restoration of joint function. Analysis of delayed results was done. The article is well illustrated with photographs.
